The 888poker UK Poker League (UKPL) returns in 2025 following an impressive debut season. The first of six scheduled stops around the United Kingdom takes place at the Grosvenor Portsmouth Gunwharf between January 20-26.
Portsmouth is a new addition to the UKPL schedule, and it promises to kick off the new season in style. The casino at Gunwharf Quays is always packed to the rafters whenever the Grosvenor 25/50, a £250 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em event, runs there. Over the past four time such an event has run, the field has averaged almost 350 entrants. They love their poker on the south coast.
The UKPL Portsmouth kicks off on January 20 with a £90 satellite awarding tickets to the £250 Opening Voyage and the eagerly anticipated £560 Main Event. The £250 Opening Voyage then officially gets the show on the road from January 21, followed by a £150 Pot-Limit Omaha 4/5/6 Card tournament, the £560 Main Event, a £1,100 High Roller, the £400 Big Shot, a £150 Seniors, and a £200 Closer wrapping things up.
